Can Romantic Comedies Ruin Love Lives?

This video shows how romantic comedies and their romantic cliches could be effecting people in real life. As the video says, the romcom movie-verse could be giving people false ideas about love and romance. Though people love to escape into the film and fantasize about love, too many movies that dramatize romance could lead to expectations that will never be met.

Cliches that are recycled over and over again within the film can almost seem to be the norm after a while, despite this being obviously not the case.
